RollCall ("we," "us," or "the Platform") is an online directory and community platform for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes, gym owners, and event organizers. We aggregate information about competitions, open mats, gyms, and training partners to help the BJJ community connect and compete.
RollCall is a directory platform only. We do not organize, host, sanction, operate, or manage any competition, open mat, training session, or physical activity listed on the Platform. We are not a gym, fight promotion, or athletic organization.
By creating an account, accessing, or using RollCall in any way, you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Your continued use constitutes ongoing acceptance of any updates to these terms.
BY USING ROLLCALL, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
3.1 Physical Activity Risk. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling, and combat sports involve inherent risks of serious personal injury, including but not limited to broken bones, dislocations, sprains, concussions, permanent disability, and death. You voluntarily assume all such risks when participating in any activity listed on or discovered through RollCall.
3.2 RollCall Is Not Responsible for Events. RollCall does not organize, supervise, control, or endorse any competition, open mat, training session, or other physical activity listed on the Platform. All events are operated by independent third parties. RollCall has no control over safety conditions, staffing, equipment, facilities, rules enforcement, or medical provisions at any listed event.
3.3 Accuracy of Listings. Event details including dates, times, locations, prices, and rules are provided by third-party gym owners and organizers. RollCall does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of this information. You are responsible for independently verifying all event details before attending or registering.
3.4 Third-Party Disputes. Any dispute between you and a gym owner, event organizer, or other user is solely between those parties. RollCall is not a party to any such dispute and bears no responsibility for its resolution.
3.5 Release of Claims. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue RollCall and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your participation in any activity found through the Platform; (c) any injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss you suffer in connection with such activity; or (d) any inaccuracy in listings or information provided by third parties on the Platform.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROLLCALL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ROLLCALL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL ROLLCALL'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ROLLCALL IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
You agree not to:
RollCall reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without notice.
If you list a gym, competition, or open mat on RollCall, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have the authority to list the event; (b) all information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge; (c) your event complies with all applicable laws and safety regulations; and (d) you carry appropriate insurance coverage for your events.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RollCall from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of events you list on the Platform, including claims by attendees.
Paid plans (Pack Leader) are billed monthly through Stripe. All charges are in US dollars. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. You may cancel at any time through your account settings, effective at the end of the current billing period.
By using RollCall, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your name and profile may be visible to other users when you RSVP to events or participate in community features.
All RollCall branding, logos, design, and original content are the property of RollCall and may not be used without written permission. By posting content on the Platform, you grant RollCall a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the Effective Date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
